I have an Amazon double yellow head. She’s 33 years old. A couple years ago he’s became agitated with tip of one of her wings, and would screech as if in pain, often when stretching her wing. She does not otherwise pluck her feathers and is fully flighted. She’s in great health and there is no obvious injury (and no break/fracture). I assumed it was inflamed or painful. But she’s easily distracted to play or move about, so it was not restricting her movement, flight or engagement. I used the calming preparation over the past week snd I have seen a notable reduction in the behavior. I use it once a day in first clean change of water. I’m hoping the benefit continues. Thank you! Steve (and Lola!)

I purchased this for my Monk Parakeet. I mix it in one of his two water bowls. This along with the calming tea seems to be working to help him mellow on his plucking and snappy attitude.

My 'Conure' named herself 'BB' & will be (9 yrs in Feb). Periodically throughout her life she had the usual 'molting' & 'hormonal' reaction. She only 'preens' as good maintenance, never extreme.
However 'BB' has always demonstrated 'panic flights' & a general 'nervousness.' This 'calming medicine' does quiet her to some degree as just started using ( 1/2 dose in 4ozs) of water for small birds. I would recommend it to others as she is responding well to it.

I’ve been giving the product to my African gray for a little more than a week and I haven’t seen any change. Can you please give me some advice

This product really works well. I had been using Pluck No More and there was some improvement but not long lasting. This Calming Powder is way better and results so far are standing the test of time!!

I have raised my girl Pepe since she was 6 months. She is now 21. She has picked pin feathers off and on for years but nothing like this year. I purchased the calming powder and I do think it helped. For one, when she stopped picking, I quit giving it to her. She started back picking a little and so I started back putting this in her water. She has been stopped for a while now and as you can see in the photo, her feathers are starting to grow back on her chest. I also started putting about 1/2 tsp of NatraPet bird bath spray in her distilled bath water so she cannot smell it. (She will not let me spray anything else on her, so if she cant smell it, all good.) This has seemed to help too. I ordered some other products in case I need them but not had to use them. She is finally not picking anymore and doing well.

Love this product
My birds are not pluckers, they are screamers. But with the calming supplement, they are much calmer. They even bite less which is a big bonus.

This product has given my umbrella cockatoo and me a more livable way of life meaning more peace and quite instead of continuous screaming. It also cut down on him shreading and cutting his feathers. Great product.

Havent noticed a difference
It's only been a little over a week, and perhaps too soon to notice a difference. Im reserving judgement until the whole container is finished.
In a week's time, my bird (12 year old female CAG), she seems a little less needy. My bird is like attached at my hip and is obsessive about going certain places in the house, in particularly the dresser drawer in my bedroom. She would beep and squeak obsessively until you wanted you go screaming for the hills. She's extremely willful and relentless and it's gotten worse, thus I purchaed Unruffled RX. Homegirl needs to relax a bit.
She continues to beep and squeak to go to the dresser anytime I walk in that direction, but perhaps a little less so. She seems a little more relaxed but is still very need and gets separation anxiety.
Still giving it time.

PEACE & QUIET
Our two Umbrella Cockatoos were screaming and plucking feathers and generally not good parrots.
My wife was even bitten by the male on routine interaction. The calming formula worked miracles and the birds are more friendly and quiet. They are sleeping through the night. Perhaps a review of the recommended dose would be helpful, I fear we're over medicating our birds. We'll try half dose and see the results. The products works well and we saw extraordinary results so far. We just mix the formula into their seeds and food. Thank you..!

UnRuffledRx Parrot Calming Formula
Product seems to be helping. Our Quaker is not plucking her feathers anymore. Will keep her on this for a while, and when ever needed. Easy to use with scoop it comes with.

Helped mine
It did help calm my birds down from screaming constantly. I was using avicalm and I couldn't find it anymore. This has the same ingredient in it. It works faster and better than avicalm.
