Vitamin D is a powerful immune booster, lowering the risk of infection, and it’s produced by the body through exposure to UVA-B rays.

The UV index (UVI) measures the intensity of UVA-B produced by the sun or a UV bulb. The higher the UVI, the more intense the UVB radiation.
A UVI of less than 5 is considered bird-safe.
