This membership will allow you to take advantage of all the local activities hosted by the chapter plus enjoy all the benefits of the national membership.
Who can join?
We welcome all genders! Anyone who holds a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited institution of higher learning may join. We also offer affiliate-level non-voting membership for undergraduates.

If you are a current member looking to renew your membership, please log in here on the national website and you will see a link for renewal on your member profile page.
How much does it cost?
Membership Categories
- Regular: Professional, non-student members
- Transitional: Reduced fees for Postdoctoral Associates and Regular Members facing financial uncertainty
- Graduate Student: Members who are registered for an advanced degree (Masters or PhD)
- Emeritus: Retired members
- National Life Member: Regular members who have elected to pay life membership dues
- Affiliate: Affiliates are individuals who support the GWIS organization but do not hold a baccalaureate or higher degree. This includes undergraduate students who are studying in a STEM field, and anyone who supports the mission of the organization. This is a non-voting membership.
