GWIS – New York City Metro Chapter

This hack-a-thon hosted by WiMLDS is a great opportunity for anyone looking to improve their coding skills in Python and R!

You will be utilizing data sets from MTA, Uber, TLC, Citi Bike, and more to learn more about NYC transportation, improve upon what is already done by city agencies, and collaborate with others on a team to achieve these goals.

  • Kickoff gathering –  Friday, March 24, 6:30p-9:30p

  • Hack-a-thon –  Saturday, March 25, 9:30a-7:30p

• Where: Stack Overflow Office, 110 William St, 28th floor, New York, NY

In addition to learning and networking with your fellow data scientists, you will be donating to charity with your $5 registration fee – the charity is voted on at registration.
